Kylie hails from a creatively inclined family and developed an interest in computers and graphic design from a young age. A passion for nature led her to complete a Science Degree before doing a 360 and embarking on a career in television production, specialising as an on-air graphics operator.

After travelling extensively for both work and leisure, Kylie chose to settle down and start a family, taking up illustration as a personal hobby. This eventually led her to discover the field of surface pattern design, prompting her to open a shop on Spoonflower.com. Early success in their design competitions fuelled her passion for pattern making.

Kylie's illustrations have been featured on a diverse range of products, including dresses, children's clothing, beeswax wraps, reusable nappies, cushions, bedding, and prints.

Outside of her design work, Kylie enjoys walking with her dog, playing video games with her son, and experimenting in the kitchen with healthy recipes.
