ABOUT KYLIE

I was lucky to have grown up surrounded by a loving family who inspired me to be inquisitive, creative and have an appreciation for the natural world. After completing a science degree I naturally took a job in television, believing I was going to be the next David Attenborough / Neil deGrasse Tyson. This didn’t happen. I did, however, enjoy a career as an on-air graphics producer, making great friends and being part of some amazing events both in Australia and abroad.

While raising my son, I rediscovered my love for art and craft, which soon evolved into an interest in surface pattern design. Encouraged by early success in Spoonflower’s design competitions, I launched my own shop, turning my artistic passion into a new business.

My illustrations have since been featured on a variety of products, including wallpaper, apparel, home decor items and art prints.
